Fitbit

Elevating visual design for a trusted wellness brand

Worked with Fitbit’s internal UX team to sharpen the visual impact of a completed app redesign—bringing the execution in line with an evolved brand direction before it shipped.

Fitbit
Challenge

Built but not ready

Fitbit had completed a major redesign of their core app but the visual execution wasn’t landing with stakeholders—it hadn’t kept pace with where the brand had evolved. They brought me in to close that gap before launch.

Work & Outcomes

Visual language, elevated

Working remotely alongside the internal team, I updated visual design across core app screens with fast iteration cycles and close collaboration.

  • Today dashboard — refreshed visual treatment for core health metrics, visualized with clarity and precision
  • Personalized content concepts — dashboard concepts exploring how motivational and personalized content could engage users without distracting from core health data
  • Discover — photo art direction and grid layout direction for the content and community section
  • Motion direction — storyboards and art direction for internal motion designers to bring key interactions to life
  • Brand alignment — updated color, typography, and component styling to align with Fitbit’s evolved brand direction
